Pumpkin Carving

We carved our pumpkins a little early this year, and they were pretty moldy and rotten by the time Halloween came around. Next year, we’ll do them one or two days before Trick or Treat night. But we had a lot of fun carving them and getting our hands dirty!

Nate actually broke this knife while cutting the top off.

Claire wanted to eat the goo.

Nate drawing the owl, which he made me carve, and it was 20 times harder than the jack-o-lantern face he carved!

I am probably not holding the knife right.

My boy.  Love him.

My owl.
